Project Background
I lost track of time during happy hour and realized I had a date within one hour. I was not wearing any makeup and Sephora was 3o minutes away to stop by and put on my makeup. I wondered if there was way to purchase a quick makeup kit with curated looks that I can quickly grab on the way. This inspired me to design a MakeUp Emergency Kit.
Problem
1) A busy young professional woman, does not have her make up bag in handy and is in urgent need to redo her makeup.
2) Sephora & Ulta stores are 30 minutes away to stop by and do a quick make over.
Goal
1) Create a Makeup Emergency Kit.
A kit includes a package of makeup essentials in sample size :
A lip gloss, mascara, eyeliner and eye shadows.
2) Create a Mobile App to purchase a kit and find a pick up location.

Competitive Analysis
Compared three different retailers selling makeup products.
Are the stores within reach to quickly stop by ?
Are there sample size products that are available to purchase in stores or via app ?
Can consumers try on products before purchase ?
Not all retailers were selling makeup sample size products or makeup kits with sample size products. What is noticeable is that beauty stores are embracing technology to virtually try on makeup. It opened up an opportunity to develop a product for consumers to purchase a makeup kit with sample size products to purchase in stores that is more accessible.
